“ Been here a couple times now, love it! The place has been absolutely packed with customers each time, and that is well deserved. The vibe is pretty different from anything else Im familiar with in the desert, a casual, comfortable German style eatery. Weve sampled the goulash, weinerschnitzel, pretzels, cabbage rolls, soups, etc. Really everything has been delicious. Im a vegetarian and they have great filling options for me to go along with the excellent meats. The vegetarian and vegan schnitzel are both excellent. If you want a ton of good comfort food in a casual and comfortable atmosphere, this is a spot for you. ”

Im convinced they sent someone on a quick not so quick trip to the Alps to personally handpick the sausages for our meal. Dont get me wrongthe sausages were divine. Worth the wait? Debatable. Worth a plane ticket to Bavaria? Maybe We also tried the pretzelsboth the standard and the jumbo Bavarian, served with a special cheese that, frankly, tasted like whipped butters less ambitious cousin. So, if youve got the patience of a monk and a soft spot for alpinequality meats, this is your spot. Otherwise, bring snacks for the wait ”
“ I love local restaurants, and this is one of them! The Alps restaurant serves a lot of traditional German, Swedish, and Swiss dishes. They may not be exactly what we have in Switzerland, but close enough! If it is your first time, you obviously have to try the schnitzel. Three great variations. Be sure to make reservations, they fill up very quickly during the season. ”
“ Come and enjoy everything desserts are perfect. Everything is handmade here by a family. Its two sisters and a mother. You should definitely come and enjoy their holiday spiced wine. You really can taste the love in the food. I come here all the time and I cant believe Im just now writing a review. I love their white balsamic coleslaw. All their desserts are amazing and I dont typically eat dessert. They dont do a lot of sugar and they almost do glutenfree I believe. ”

“ very good food here, the paprika schnitzel or they call it gypsy schnitzel was amazing, as well as the jager schnitzel. only complaint would be the super bright light above the bar it needs to be changed out for something softer, it was pretty obnoxiously bright and I promise no one wants to sit at a bar with a flashlight in their face. other than that it was awesome and Its great they have german beer too. ”
